Boy:
There are too many people I have lost.
There are too many blood stains on my hands
There are too many rose petals scattered around
There are too many reasons as to why I should stop
Girl:
So many things have happened that should have ended
So many people who have fallen for such greed
So many erasers to make everything disappear
So many reasons as to why I should clean it up
Boy:
I quit killing and have started to repent
Girl:
I started to sweep dust under the rug
Boy:
I looked upon the world I have created
I looked upon the memories I have to bare
And I deem this...
Girl:
Glancing at my final moments of life
Glancing at the new world I helped to create
I pronounce this...
Unison:
A New Hope
A poem I decided to write after watching Black Cat. A great show to watch indeed. The Boy and Girl are based off the characters Train and Saya.
To re-cap who did not watch Black Cat, Train is a boy who was given a number and worked under the title of the black cat. His job was to kill anyone who threatened the organization known as Chronos. His number was 13. He quit because he hated to kill and wanted to do what he wanted and not the organization.
Saya is a girl who was completely free. She was something called a sweeper. Their job was to take down criminals and place them under arrest. She befriended the black cat before he quit the organization. In fact, she was the reason Train even knew what freedom was like. She was the reason he left the organization. Sadly, she was brutally murdered but her death was not in vain. Train was able to reinforce his resolve to be a stray cat and become a sweeper.
